FAQ

Questions that are commonly asked by our customers. If your question is not answered here, please feel free to call us at (719) 339-9071 or email us.

  • How long does the hole need to be?
The hole needs to be at least 135 yards. Normal pricing applies starting at 150 yards, and a 10% discount is applied at 190 yards. For specific pricing, please call for a free quote.

  • Do women need to hit from the yardage specified in the contract?
Women can shoot from 15 yards closer than the yardage specified in the contract. This means if you have a hole marked at 150 yards, women can shoot from 135 yards and still be eligible for the prize.

  • Are club pros eligible for hole-in-one prizes?
Pros are eligible to participate in hole-in-one competitions, however the cost per pro is 2x the cost of a normal player.

  • Can more than one person win on the same hole?
For prize amounts less than $100,000, multiple people who make a hole-in-one on that specific hole are all eligible for the full prize amount.

  • Does a hole-in-one winner lose their amateur status?
As long as that player does not make multiple attempts on the same hole, and as long as the event is not a putting contest, an amateur may win a hole-in-one prize of any amount and still retain their amateur status.

  • Do I need a witness?
For all prizes that are valued at $10,000 or less, a non-participating witness is not required. For all prizes, at least 2 other registered participants playing in the group are required. However, for all prizes over $10,000, at least one non-participating witness is required.

  • Is there a minimum number of players who need to be involved in the event?
    No.

  • Is signage provided?
For $18 (not including shipping), we can provide a sign to put in front of the hole with the prize on it, letting participants know what they’re shooting for. This is optional.

  • Do you provide additional free prizes on other par 3’s?
Other hole-in-one providers will offer additional “free” small-ticket prizes to accompany any major purchase you make with them. However, what we’ve found, is those “free” prizes are built into your cost, so you’re paying for them either way. With Signature Hole-in-One, we want to make sure you’re not paying any more than you need to, which means no additional charges in order to accommodate these “free” prizes.
